Dr. Anand Prakash Maheshwari is an accomplished and a gallant senior official with over 35 years of progressive and multifarious experience in homeland security, border management, research and policy, law and order, gender sensitization to name a few.

 

As an IPS officer (1984 batch) of UP Cadre, he has spent a sizable segment of his professional career in Uttar Pradesh and made his presence felt regardless of wherever he was posted in the state.

 

His professional career culminates as the Director General of world's largest paramilitary force-CRPF. Post retirement, he was appointed as the Advisor to Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, Puducherry. He worked in this capacity till the formation of the State government.
